Game Setup and Objective

The game is a strategic battle between two players, each with a pre-built deck of 50 cards. The game's objective is to reduce the opposing player's Mage card's HP to 0. The deck build rules are mentioned in the Deck Rules Section

Draw Phase

Players start the game by drawing five cards from their decks. They also draw one card at the end of each turn unless an effect prohibits this.

Mulligan Rule

Before their first turn, players can reshuffle their hand back into their deck and draw a new hand of the same number of cards. This action does not incur a penalty and can be repeated up to 3 times. After that, the hand stays as is. However, if, by any iteration of this action, a hand is drawn without any sacrifice cards, that iteration is not counted.

Hand Limit

If a player has five cards in hand and must draw (To be more specific, at the end of the turn), they must first discard a card. Effects that would cause players to have more than five cards in their hand only take effect up to the hand limit. So, for example, if by ability, the player needs to draw three cards, but it already has four, it just draws one.

Game Field Zones

The game field is divided into four zones: Deck Zone, Discard Zone, Sacrifice Zone, and Play Zone.

  1. Mage: Adjacent to the Henchmen Zone, this area is designated for the player's mage.
  2. Henchmen Zone: This is where the player's deployed henchmen are placed. Each player can have a maximum of 5 henchmen in combat at anytime.
  3. Sacrifices Zone: Found right behind the mage, this zone houses all played sacrifices. An indicator within this zone displays the total number of sacrifices in play and the ones currently available for use.
  4. Deck: Positioned at the bottom right of the field, this contains your card list. Cards are drawn from here each turn. An indicator shows the number of cards remaining in your deck.
  5. Discard Deck: Situated directly above the main deck, the discard deck is where all defeated henchmen, discarded cards, utilized spells, destroyed sacrifices, or cards removed from your deck are placed.
  6. Hand: These are the cards that players currently have at their disposal to play.
